Accommodating Staff (Owner) went out of her way to make sure your stay was good
Noisy digs, and would have been betetr a/cond instead of ceiling fan, and free standing fan

Clean. Spacious rooms, friendly and very helpful staff. Location brilliant and good value for money.
Nothing negative...except for wild dogs barking at night which kept us awake, though not the hotel's fault!!!

I loved the overall vibe of the guesthouse. From the time that we arrived, we were greeted by the il Girna family who took care of our every need. They were able to connect us with anything that we wanted on the island for a reasonable price. The house was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The rooms were spacious, clean and well decorated. Each morning there was a fresh breakfast waiting for us that kept us full for the day. This is a truly special place to stay that gives you a glimpse into the hospitality of the people in Gozo. The house was located in one of the highest points of the island. We were able to hike near the guesthouse and see the amazing sites of the sea side cliffs. In order to get to the near by beaches, we rented and rode a bike there, which I would highly recommend. I will definitely be back to stay again!

Hospitality, quiet surroundings
Size of bed could be bigger, and a new mattress is needed.

Actually I was very disappointed
No tv in room ... breakfast on a dining table in a small room with other strangers eating on the same dining table ... bed was very small .... no lift ... very wrong information

Warm welcome in a friendly and informal athmosphere, extremely helpful (e.g. organizing bikes, which is phantastic to have on this island; laundry; transport...); spacious bedroom, spacious bathroom; copious breakfast; delicious meals in the affiliated restaurant. Thank you Maria and Teddy!

The owners were very friendley and helpful
The beach was a 45 minute walk and it was too isolated

Very friendly hosts Maria and Ted create a very cosy atmosphere and you can really tell that it is a family-run hotel. Excellent restaurant and swimming pool. Common areas were very comfortable with soft couches and guitar and wifi-connection. Breakfast was also good with nice music in the background. Good value for money.
Nothing about the hotel itself but it is located in the way that travelling without a car could be hassle.

Unlike Malta, we found Gozo to be extremely relaxing with friendly hospitable people, great food, and an authentic cultural experience which is yet to be completely ruined by mass tourism. The small Il Girna with its traditional architecture, homely atmosphere, large rooms, friendly owners and staff, and quality restaurant nearby typified the Gozo experience. We highly recommend this hotel. There is very little within walking distance, so do hire a car. This brings every sight, restaurant and beach on the island within 10 minutes of the hotel. When you visit, say "hi" to Maria and Teddy for me!! Cheers

Very nice house and furniture; spacious rooms, furnished and maintained with taste and care; abundant breakfast; the house is located in a quiet area; no noise at all during the night;
The shower of our room exuded a bad smell; it seems that it was built without a syphon. The description on the internet says the beach is just 2 minutes away. In fact it is not a beach but a small concrete platform, which requires 10 minutes by car on a very bad road to get there.

We spent beautiful time in this sweet family run hotel. The hosts Maria and Teddy are very friendly and you have impression like you are at your home. Good breakfast, clean room, beautiful swimming pool area. We stayed at penthouse apartment with beautiful view. On one side you can see Gozo island and north part of Malta and on the other side in the evening you can enjoy beautiful sunset. There is also beautiful view of Victoria's Fortress. Car is recommended but the bus station is near also. All recommendations.
